International pop star Kylie Minogue has announced her first ever Mexican tour dates for her "Aphrodite Les Folies" 2011 World Tour. She will be performing in Mexico City, Guadalajara & Monterrey (full schedule below). The tour starts February 19th in Europe and will arrive in Mexico on May 12th 2011. The Aphrodite Les Folies tour promises to be an absolute landmark in the career of the Princess of Pop as Kylie and her team have created a live spectacular surpassing even her own previous groundbreaking shows.
"The reaction to 'Aphrodite' has been absolutely incredible and has inspired me to develop a new show that will take all of us on a euphoric journey of joy, excitement and glamour. I can't wait to get on the road and see all my fans in 2011," said Kylie.
Kylie recently visited Mexico and was overwhelmed by the ecstatic reception she received from her fans there, Kylie said…" I have wanted to visit Mexico for such a long time that it really was a specially moment to finally meet my fans there. I had a wonderful time and I cannot wait to take 'Aphrodite Les Folies' to Mexico in May next year."
Kylie's 11th studio album Aphrodite was released in July and debuted at #1 in Mexico. Aphrodite became Kylie's fifth #1 album in the UK, hitting the top spot a full 22 years to the week since her debut album Kylie entered the chart. Around the globe Aphrodite debuted in the top 10 in thirteen different countries.
